I’ve always wanted to be able to write a blog as a way of giving me somewhere I can read through when we are five years down the line and I can remind myself of where I am/was right now. I choose five years because by then, I would have expired as a young person according to our youth work terms. In five years time I will be 26 and, not that I am wishing my life away, am interested to know what my outlook on life will be then; that’s getting pretty deep, so let’s move on.

I’m 21, live and work in a very exciting Monmouthshire and enjoy a challenge. I enjoy doing things differently and enjoy doing things because I want to, not because I have to – when I read that back it could portray me to be lazy, but I want to do a lot of things. I want to write about and share what I get up to, what I am trying to do and what successes and failures I experience along the way 🙂

I have the honour of working with inspirational people from which I learn something new everyday. I am fascinated by the way people communicate and learn from eachother. I believe learning should be personal and people should have more opportunities to learn from others’ and their own failures and success.

I’m not sure what I’m good at, nor what I want to be when I grow up. I’m a keen dabbler – and that’s ok for a while. I gave University a shot a couple of years ago, but decided it wasn’t for me – I hope that’s ok for a while too.

This is all me

This my personal blog and the opinions that I express here do not necessarily represent those of Monmouthshire County Council or any other organisations that I am associated with.
